MARY MILAN BECOMES BRIDE OF WALLACE GUNN OF CUBERO|
Miss Mary Milan, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Bartolo Milan, and Wallace Gunn, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Collin Gunn of Laguna, were married at 1:30 p.m. Sunday
at the Sacred Heart rectory, the Rev. Anthony Korcek officiating.
Miss Angela Menini was the bridesmaid and Phil Bibo of Cubero, lifelong friend
of Gunn's was the best man.
The bride was attired in a navy blue ensemble with accessories to mach and wore
a corsage of pink roses and lillies of the valley. Miss Milan was gowned in a
rust colored ensemble with a corsage of Talisman roses.
A buffet luncheon was served at the home of the bride's parents immediately
after the wedding ceremony, with only members of the immediate families and a
few intimate friends present. No special color motif was used at the Milan home
for the luncheon but a wealth of cut flowers afforded a simple decorative
Mr. and Mrs. Gunn left in the afternoon in their private plane for a wedding
trip by air, planning to be away about two weeks after which they will be at
home about March 14 at Cubero where Gunn is associated wilh the Cubero Trading
Mrs. Gunn is a graduate of the Gallup high school and has always been an active
member of the school alumni association. She is a past grand regent of the
Catholic Daughters of America, Ave Maria lodge, No, 315. She is a charter member
of the Gallup Business and Women's Professional club and was one of three
delegates who went to Yellowstone Park in June to attend the district convention
of B & P clubs.
